Guided Grizzly Bear Hunt
I have been in business in British Columbia for over 20 yrs and own two guide areas, one of which has a super high concentration of grizzlies and is 1800 square miles.
The population is so good that I can offer a "guaranteed" hunt, meaning, if you are able to climb a moderately easy trail up a ridge (approximately 1500 feet vertically and 1 - 1 1/2 hrs in duration) I will gaurantee to show you grizzlies. The rest will be up to you (and your guide.)
The bears are usually on the next ridge and take another hour or two to stalk. (The last three times I have been up the ridge I have had 3 bears down within 4 hrs of leaving the camp and seen upwards of a dozen bears feeding on berries on the mountainside.)
My latest hunter was John Carlson from Minnesota. We flew in to the area on the late afternoon of Sept 19/08 and had his bear by noon the next day. Please feel free to get in touch with John as he will give you an honest opinion of what to expect. Below are pictures of his bear taken on Sept 20/08. 2009 Pricing
Cost for this 1:1 fly-in hunt for Sept 17 - 24 is:

$10,000 U.S. - Reduced to $7995 U.S. - + 5% tax, tags and $1250 for air transport.

Trophy fee is $4000 U.S.

Successful hunters will pay a royalty of $1000 (CDN funds) to the provincial government of British Columbia. I am taking reservations for 4 hunters for this package. (rifle only - no archery hunters) Upgrade to include the option to hunt black bear and wolf is an additional $1000 + tax and tags. A deposit of $6000 is required.
Additional info: This is an extremely remote "fly-in, tent camp situation." There is no hot/cold running water or maid service. Hunters will need to be in excellent shape. Max baggage is 60 pounds per person. We can arrange to have an additional person accompany our hunters to videotape the experience and to carry gear if req'd. Outfitter will be in attendance during the entire trip.
Non Hunting Companions are welcome
to take
part in any of the packages listed.
